Who do I speak with regarding results of my lab test performed by Clinical Laboratory Partners (CLP)?
All questions regarding your laboratory test results should be directed to your physician who can interpret them in conjunction with your medical history and examination.
How long does it take to receive my test results?
Depending on the test ordered results may be ready in as little as 24 hours or less. Certain tests may take several days or weeks. All results are sent to the ordering physician who may contact you when they are received.
Can I receive a copy of my test results?
Patients may receive a copy of their results only with the written authorization from your physician. If you would like a copy of your results you may ask your physician to carbon copy you on each laboratory slip and CLP will in turn send a copy of your results to the address provided on the laboratory slip.
Can I request my own lab tests?
No, laboratory tests must be ordered by a physician. If you would like a certain test performed, please discuss with your physician who will decide if the test you want is appropriate.
My doctor ordered a lab test for me, but does not collect in the office how do I locate a patient service center?
You may call CLP at 800-286-9800 (option 2) and our Client Service Department will be happy to tell you the closest patient service center to you. You may also click here for a full listing of our patient service centers. CLP is proud to have over 50 locations throughout the State of Connecticut to better serve you.
Do I need to make an appointment to have my blood drawn?
No. All CLP patient service centers are walk-in centers. Appointments are available for semen analysis; please call Client Service Department at 800-286-9800 (option 2) for a listing of semen analysis collection sites.
Do I need to fast before having my blood drawn?
Some blood tests require you to fast prior to being drawn, if you have a question about fasting prior to having blood work, please contact your physician.
Can I view my results online?
At this time, patients are unable to view their results online.
Can CLP help me interpret my test results?
Only your physician can correctly interpret your laboratory results. Please direct all questions regarding your results to your physician.
